With a capacity of 400 MW, Anholt Offshore Wind Farm will be able to supply CO2-free power corresponding to the annual power consumption of more than 400,000 Danish households, or 4% of Denmark's power consumption.
Dong Energy nominated Siemes Wind Power to supply abt. 111 pcs 3,6 MW offshore turbines to be used at Anholt offshore Wind Farm.
Dong Energy will be responsible for building Anholt offshore wind farm, the largest offshore wind farm in Denmark, must supply it's first power by the end of 2012, and the entire wind farm must be commissioned by the end of 2013.
